Hello;
As Director and Head InstructorThank you for checking out our web site. Please feel free to browse the site and see what we have to offer our clients. I am thrilled to have an opportunity to work with you and helping you fulfill your dream of being the best hockey player you can be. I started this camp in 1997 because I saw a lot of players getting frustrated with their development and even quitting hockey all together because they could not find a way to get that extra edge that would allow them to take their careers to the next level.
My goal is to make you a better player while giving you some exposure to high level coaches and scouts who can see you perform and recommend you to teams looking for players. We all know about the super star players like Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and now Sidney Crosby. These are players who had all the skills and mind set in one package at a very early age. These are once in a lifetime players who through hard work and dedication had everything come together for them at the right time. However many players are late bloomers or as we like to call them "Diamonds in the Rough". They need some polishing and some fine tuning in order to be ready for that next step. My camp allows you to keep playing and keep improving in a positive "go for it" atmosphere.
Once again thanks for checking out my site.Good luck with your career and I hope to see you out at our next camp.
Special Message
January 18, 2008.
I was recently saddened at the passing of Gary Cook affectionately known as "cookie".
Gary was a major contributor to hockey in the ThunderBay area. He won championships at all levels. He won 3 Colonial Cups with the Thunderbay Senators and 5 Alan Cups with the ThunderBay Twins and Bombers.
My thoughts go out to "Cookie's" family and all those that knew him in the ThunderBay hockey community.
Sincerely;
Paul Maclean
Honourary Mention
I would like to congratulate Stefan Legein of Oakville on being a member of the Canadian World Junior Champions who recently won the Gold medal in Sweden. Stefan is a forward who has also been drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL.
Good Luck Stefan
Yours truly;
Paul Maclean
